It's definitely supposed to be comma sep for AND frequencies in a single tone_detect call. Also, the r and w flags are discussed here<https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Misc._Dialplan_Tools_tone_detect>. If you can reliable force a single freq in a comma sep list to trigger the tone detect then I recommend labbing it up on latest master, verifying, and then opening a jira. -MC On Tue, Jul 23, 2013 at 4:37 PM, Karl Schmidt <karl@xtronics.com> wrote:

Use a comma sep list of frequencies if you want to do an AND op:
<action application="tone_detect" data="test 350,440 r +100 hangup 'normal_clearing' 1"/>
That is what I had, just the 440 tone would set it off - I found a workaround..
I still don't understand the r/w flag.
Will space separated frequencies do the OR ?

It seems to work as an 'OR' - either tone makes the result - but that does not make sense? Shouldn't this be an 'AND' ?
How is it supposed to work?
Also - the r and w flag -- I'm assuming (which is always risky) that r(reading) means the other end is sending the tone?
