No, you cann't . You should define your gateway on "right" profile( in your case, it's external profile) , So , FS will use that profile configration call out. You may consider the profile is a container , you defined communication parameters in the container ,so FS will using what you defined and make call out (or accept call in). When calls come to external profile (port 5080), I'm dialing out a pre-defined gateway with bridge <action application="bridge" data="sofia/gateway/${gateway}/${destination_number}"/> Call is normal, except FreeSWITCH used internal profile (port 5060) contacting my gateway. I saw that internal profile is listed before external profile in profiles configuration, so I guess internal is considered higher priority or default. Calls come to internal profile have normal behavior, because FS use internal for dialing out. For some reasons, I'm not using user directory or REGISTER at all. So, can I choose a specific SIP Profile to use for dialing out via a gateway? just like dialing to sofia/profile_name/destination ? Sorry if this question is duplicated elsewhere, any help would be appreciated. rgds, Loi Dang
