Sofia Profile to use for dialing gateway
Hi guys, I'm going to use FreeSWITH with 2 SIP Profiles, called internal and external. When calls come to external profile (port 5080), I'm dialing out a pre-defined gateway with bridge *<action application="bridge" data="sofia/gateway/${gateway}/${destination_number}"/>* Call is normal, except FreeSWITCH used internal profile (port 5060) contacting my gateway. I saw that internal profile is listed before external profile in *profiles *configuration, so I guess internal is considered higher priority or default. Calls come to internal profile have normal behavior, because FS use internal for dialing out. For some reasons, I'm not using user directory or REGISTER at all. So, can I choose a specific SIP Profile to use for dialing out via a gateway? just like dialing to *sofia/profile_name/destination *? Sorry if this question is duplicated elsewhere, any help would be appreciated. rgds, Loi Dang

Many thanks for pointing it out and help me to I see what I was doing wrong, guys. I created the same list of gateway and have it included in my both profiles, that leads to me to confusing. Know what to deal with from now. rgds, Loi Dang On Mon, Apr 24, 2017 at 10:14 PM David Ponzone <david.ponzone@gmail.com> wrote:

No, you cann't . You should define your gateway on "right" profile( in your case, it's external profile) , So , FS will use that profile configration call out. You may consider the profile is a container , you defined communication parameters in the container ,so FS will using what you defined and make call out (or accept call in). take a look where your gateway is configured. That's the issue. On Mon, Apr 24, 2017 at 12:44 AM Lợi Đặng <loi.dangthanh@gmail.com> wrote:

Make sure your gateway is configured under the external profile, And not the internal On Mon, Apr 24, 2017 at 4:26 PM Michael Jerris <mike@jerris.com> wrote:
