OK I figured it should be done in the dialplan, but have no idea where to put it and what the exact command line should look like. Any help with this will be highly appreciated. Thanks again. Hi Brian
Thank you very much for your email.
Would I be correct to say that this will be set in vars.xml or within the sofia profile?
Sorry if this is a "stupid" question.
Thanks again.

For the record, your provider is broken, you should beat them with a clue-by-four
You can fix this by doing set_profile_var "caller_id_name=_undef_"
Now that I sent it from the right email address LOL...

Hi Brian's (Foster/West)
Thank you for your replies.
Apologies for not being clear.
Hope this explains better of what needs to be achieved.
Currently outbound calls to our International Provider is as follows:
INVITE sip:0987654321@mydomain.com SIP/2.0 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP mydomain.com;rport;branch=z9hG4bK28yXaj1mSrr7S Max-Forwards: 67 From: "0987654321" <sip:0987654321@theircomain.com>;tag=Xc4Da7aeSvyge To: <sip:1234567890@theirdomain.com>
What we require is as follows:
INVITE sip:0987654321@mydomain.com SIP/2.0 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP mydomain.com;rport;branch=z9hG4bK28yXaj1mSrr7S Max-Forwards: 67 From: "0987654321" <sip:0987654321@thiercomain.com>;tag=Xc4Da7aeSvyge To: "1234567890 " <sip:1234567890@theirdomain.com>
You will see that the callee_id_name is not in the "current" trace. It must be set as in the "required" trace.
This should be applied either on the exiting gateway or globally, not sure which is the correct way to do so.
Thank you again for your feedback and assistance.
Kind Regards
Deon Vermeulen
<compose-unknown-contact.jpg> Brian Foster April 26, 2013 6:14 PM If it's an inbound call then it should be automatic unless you want to change it. As Brian said it's hard to tell what you are trying to accomplish but if you want to change it, you need to set it before you transfer to another context.
