How to set Callee ID Name globally or on gateway level
Hi I've stumbled upon the following links: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/effective-callee-id-name-behav... http://lists.freeswitch.org/pipermail/freeswitch-dev/2011-November/005355.ht... Am I correct to say that these set the callee_id_name to be passed in the SIP INVITE when configured on the extension? We require the following INVITE format to be sent over a specific gateway: INVITE sip:1234567890@192.168.200.153;user=phone SIP/2.0 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 192.168.200.130:5070;branch=z9hG4bK75b28f842f76d9c9e299a80c0;rport;X-DispCookie=1013;X-HwTRC=259446;X-DptMsg=1405 Route: <sip:192.168.200.153:5060;transport=udp;lr> Call-ID: bb4bcb34ec7041237fbfc1e63f687744@10.18.5.64 From: "0987654321"<sip:0987654321@192.168.200.130;transport=udp;user=phone>;tag=fd64e901-CC-1013-TRC-259446 To:"1234567890"<sip:1234567890@192.168.200.153;transport=udp;user=phone> How could one go about to achieve the above? First off, If you have something that depends on fields in the from and to contain specific values or info then your device in question is somewhat broken. Can you tell us what exactly you're trying to accomplish? On Apr 26, 2013, at 10:29 AM, Deon Vermeulen <vermeulen.deon@gmail.com> wrote:

If it's an inbound call then it should be automatic unless you want to change it. As Brian said it's hard to tell what you are trying to accomplish but if you want to change it, you need to set it before you transfer to another context. -BDF Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S 4 On Apr 26, 2013 12:12 PM, "Deon Vermeulen" <vermeulen.deon@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi Brian's (Foster/West) Thank you for your replies. Apologies for not being clear. Hope this explains better of what needs to be achieved. Currently outbound calls to our International Provider is as follows: INVITE sip:0987654321@mydomain.com SIP/2.0 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP mydomain.com;rport;branch=z9hG4bK28yXaj1mSrr7S Max-Forwards: 67 From: "0987654321" <sip:0987654321@theircomain.com>;tag=Xc4Da7aeSvyge To: <sip:1234567890@theirdomain.com> What we require is as follows: INVITE sip:0987654321@mydomain.com SIP/2.0 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP mydomain.com;rport;branch=z9hG4bK28yXaj1mSrr7S Max-Forwards: 67 From: "0987654321" <sip:0987654321@thiercomain.com>;tag=Xc4Da7aeSvyge To:"1234567890 " <sip:1234567890@theirdomain.com> You will see that the callee_id_name is not in the "current" trace. It must be set as in the "required" trace. This should be applied either on the exiting gateway or globally, not sure which is the correct way to do so. Thank you again for your feedback and assistance. Kind Regards Deon Vermeulen

For the record, your provider is broken, you should beat them with a clue-by-four You can fix this by doing set_profile_var "caller_id_name=_undef_" Now that I sent it from the right email address LOL... /b On Apr 26, 2013, at 12:41 PM, Deon Vermeulen <vermeulen.deon@gmail.com> wrote:
