Thanks Anthony,
I'm very impressed with the quick response.
The additional waiting/logging makes things clearer. Your new code is waiting for the video and never getting it. In my case this is correct behaviour as X-Lite and FreeSwitch are not able to negotiate video furing offer/answer.
Here is the SDP from XLite Invite:

And here is the SDP from freeswitch in the response: v=0 o=FreeSWITCH 1269574772 1269574773 IN IP4 192.168.30.10 s=FreeSWITCH c=IN IP4 192.168.30.10 t=0 0 m=audio 20138 RTP/AVP 0 101 a=rtpmap:0 PCMU/8000 a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000 a=fmtp:101 0-16 a=silenceSupp:off - - - - a=ptime:20 m=video 0 RTP/AVP 19
XLite is offering video H.263 and H.263(1998) but Freeswitch is answering with a zero port (RTP/AVP 19). The only thing that is being successfully negotiated is the audio (PCMU/8000).
Can you confirm whether mod_fsv can record H.263? Do you know how I can pursuade freeswitch to accept the video? I'm a little new to freeswitch
You need to add the H26x codec in freeswitch available codecs list (global_codec_prefs or outbound_codec_prefs, check in the wiki the one that applies here). François On Fri, 26 Mar 2010 01:35:12 -0800 (PST), OwenW <williams.owen@gmail.com> wrote: -
I suspect mod_H26x may be part of the answer however there isn't any documentation...
