Yes, I noticed the DTMF event, but wanted to be comfortable :) as with read, which does all the work for me. However, how do I cancel the speak operation in progress to simulate barge? Thanks, Boris On Fri, Jul 25, 2008 at 7:44 PM, Andy Spitzer <woof@pingtel.com> wrote:

Hi all!
I'm using event sockets to remotely drive freeswitch. Is there a read like functionality for speak that can be used with event sockets, for example:
One way to handle DTMF collection with event sockets is to enable DTMF events to be reported as they occur. By sending "myevents" at the once the event socket is ready, that will cause DTMF events to bubble up as they occur, and your logic can deal with stopping the audio, etc.
