You need to understand how FS works in the user space first. Then, depending what type of modules you want to write, consider finding a template, mod_example and mod_schel is probably what you first should look. I'm writing some chapters about this on my book, though the book will be in Chinese. -- Seven Du http://www.freeswitch.org.cn http://about.me/dujinfang http://www.dujinfang.com Sent with Sparrow (http://www.sparrowmailapp.com/?sig) On Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 3:44 AM, Moishe Grunstein wrote:
You might want to outsource some of your development to the freeswitch dev team.

Need some guidance on how to ramp-up quickly on FS module development -- rather understanding the source-code. I have to admit that I am not the smartest coder or the quickest learner. What might be the right place to start, without getting bogged down with details.
Jay
PS> There are no shortcuts, and one must learn it the long-hard-painful way, is a valid answer -- but I am hopeful of something better than that.
