by Prashant Lamba 24 Jan '11

24 Jan '11

Hello Everyone, We recently released a lightweight Windows VoiceXML interpreter that runs as an extension to FreeSWITCH. It is an out-of-the-box solution, enabling easy development of VoiceXML applications right on their Windows desktop. SIP is handled by FreeSWITCH. Media and document interpretation is handled by the VoiceXML interpreter which run in bypass_media mode configured in the FreeSWITCH dialplan. The idea is to leverage highly scalable FreeSWITCH and sell low-cost, rapid to deploy solutions for pre-built/packaged IVR and voice portal applications market which remains largely untapped. We are now working to release video support for VoiceXML which will also run on FreeSWITCH by the end of 1Q of 2011. If you would like to add VoiceXML support to your FreeSWITCH deployment, please feel free to contact me. - Best Prashant -- Prashant Lamba Director, Business Development Phonologies (India) Private Limited A-53, Electronic Sadan No-1, TTC Ind.
