[Freeswitch-users] Heartbeat question

Yeah the word **hearbeat** was confusing me, now its ok.
So one use case would be to count live calls with much detailed information.
is it *resource*-*intensive** operation? can i do it on wholesale traffic
(500+ calls).*
...any other interesting use cases?
