Yeah the word *<b>hearbeat</b>* was confusing me, now its ok.<br><br>So one use case would be to count live calls with much detailed information. <br><br>is it <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; "><em style="font-weight: bold; font-style: normal; ">resource</em>-<em style="font-weight: bold; font-style: normal; ">intensive</em><em style="font-style: normal; "> operation? can i do it on wholesale traffic (500+ calls).</em></span><br>

It is *VERY* different from the system heartbeat, which is sent out to all event socket subscribers, not just a particular session.<br>
