[Freeswitch-dev] Linux or Windows?

I am talking simply about Windows itself. Freeswitch is pretty damn good.
Grab a 486 machine with 256Mbyte RAM & try & run XP or Vista :-)
I have 2.6Kernel running on VIA processor in less than 12Mbytes. Obviously I
only have built the absolute min. but at least I can.

Can you elaborate more on this please?
What is the inefficient bit -
thread launch time,
memory management
cpu usage
You answer might indicate a code problem in the windows build.
