[Freeswitch-dev] Freeswitch capabilities

Hi Men!

Looking for an advice of using Freeswitch ove Asterisk.
I'm looking for a way to bridge a lot of TDM PRI calls usind 
SANGOMA hardware, and I found that Asterisk just is not so 
capable on high volume calls (10xE1 on 5xDualPort cards) . 
I suppose Freeswitch should be more capable of doind so. 
Asterisk eats full CPU on ~80 calls with no transcoding and 
no echo cancel. Is Freeswitch capable to do so and if yes 
can it reliably interoperate over IAX2 with other servers * 
and Freeswitch?
