Fyi,
1. Does the Nokia still maintain this stack or not?
Nokia started sofia-sip stack, but it now maintained by community.
2. Any commercial support by FreeSwitch developers? Can I got the quotation?
https://freeswitch.com/cart.php?gid=5
3. Is it easy to compile and setup FreeSwitch?
It depends on your need, you'll need to setup various FS modules up on
that, FS guys already told you what you need to do in the sample
configurations, and you'll love it.
4. Which FreeSwitch version is recommended? ( 1.6?)
Mike will tell you to use the latest code from git, when you encounter an
issue. latest version is also good for newbie.
