+1 to sngrep. I never actually did a write-up on it but I will say that I
can highly recommend it for quickly finding the right SIP dialog on a busy
system (or in a pcap file) and does the nice ladder graph of the
communications.

there's also a nice tool called sngrep
https://github.com/irontec/sngrep
It needs a wide terminal with color support, like xterm.
