[Freeswitch-users] Recording / concurrent calls and performance

Yes, it will take some resources, like disk i/o and maybe a little CPU
depending on the read/write codecs. However, I don't think there's an easy
way to quantify how much it will slow things down without just loading up
the system with some calls and see what happens.
