we haven't determined exactly how the configuration will be stored yet, so i can't answer this question for sure.  most likely, in keeping with the concept of modular design, the configuration storage/retrieval mechanism will be pluggable, so even if Jester Mail doesn't come with this functionality, you'd be able to write your own plugin to accomplish it.
