Samuel,

I would use mod_easyroute for what you need to do.

Setup FreeSwitch as your SBC with the mod_easyroute routing each did number
to different ip's for each conference server as needed.   Plus, you can
also control the number of channels for each conference by DID number.   You
just need to make sure your FreeSwitch SBC is set for bypass_media=true.

You should be able to get about 4000 channels up running on the SBC using a
Dual Core 3Ghz machine.   You can find more information
