having problem testing FS with WinSIP
i was trying to test FS with 1 calling party and 1 called party configured in 2 WinSIPs, the registration to FS is OK for both party, but while making calls, the calling party kept receiving 407 Proxy Authentication Required response, i tried to uncomment <param name="accept-blind-reg" value="true"/> <param name="accept-blind-auth" value="true"/> in internal.xml of sip_profiles and still receiving 407 response. the FS log keeps on displaying the following DEBUG: 2013-06-14 18:54:42.166920 [DEBUG] switch_core_session.c:1005 Send signal sofia/internal/1500@192.168.0.100:15070 [BREAK] 2013-06-14 18:54:42.166920 [DEBUG] switch_core_session.c:1005 Send signal sofia/internal/1500@192.168.0.100:15070 [BREAK] 2013-06-14 18:54:42.187428 [DEBUG] sofia.c:7860 IP 192.168.0.100 Rejected by acl "domains". Maybe try param "auth-calls" set to false? -MC On Fri, Jun 14, 2013 at 4:47 AM, Vincent Xia <gmangudai@gmail.com> wrote:

Seconded... There are some cases were a FS restart isn't needed where reloadxml isn't quite enough (eg sofia profile rescan, reload module) and some where only a restart can do it (mostly switch.conf.xml stuff). It could be useful to have the wiki annotated with what's required in the config documentation. That's not a trivial task though :) -Steve On Saturday, June 15, 2013, Vincent Xia wrote:

Which is indeed why no such document exists. However, maybe we can start crowdsourcing it on the ML. I will create a skeleton document on the wiki and people can start adding their knowledge. I will start a new ML thread. -MC -- Michael S Collins Twitter: @mercutioviz http://www.FreeSWITCH.org http://www.ClueCon.com http://www.OSTAG.org
