how to configure the *.xml to make sip re gistration
hello, first thanks those people who have given advice to me. this time i shall register the special sip caller ,but not have anything registered. at the begin,i rename the freeswitch_combined.xml to freeswitch.xml,so i can configure all things in one .xml file. i have made the first configuration to test stuff out. then, when i want to register a special sip caller, though i have read the sofia.xml reference to configure it,the UA cant't reach it. is there some file else need to configure? because the freewitch_combined.xml which i have renamed to freeswitch.xml have not the #include to include sofia.xml, so i have to use #include to incude this file again.does this make sense? another question, in the freeswitch.xml it uses #include, and in freeswitch_combined.xml it uses <load module=...>.what's the difference betweem the two ? thank you very much! 百 万 同 时 在 线,人 山 人 海 同 玩 梦 幻 西 游
Remmeber the <!-- #inclue --> is NOT A COMMENT its an ssi like directive to INCLUDE a file so do not remove the <!-- or --> /b On Jul 17, 2007, at 9:37 PM, cake918@126.com wrote:

hi! you want to registry Sip caller.Ok! Don't rename freeswitch_combined.xml to freeswitch.xml. freeswitch_combined.xml used to load modules freeswitch.xml used to include parameter in modules. you can rename profile-name or used example(PBX) to config SIP Caller i am vietnammese!ok! hi! cake918@126.com wrote: hello, first thanks those people who have given advice to me. this time i shall register the special sip caller ,but not have anything registered. at the begin,i rename the freeswitch_combined.xml to freeswitch.xml,so i can configure all things in one .xml file. i have made the first configuration to test stuff out. then, when i want to register a special sip caller, though i have read the sofia.xml reference to configure it,the UA cant't reach it. is there some file else need to configure? because the freewitch_combined.xml which i have renamed to freeswitch.xml have not the #include to include sofia.xml, so i have to use #include to incude this file again.does this make sense? another question, in the freeswitch.xml it uses #include, and in freeswitch_combined.xml it uses <load module=...>.what's the difference betweem the two ? thank you very much! --------------------------------- °Ù Íò ͬ ʱ ÔÚ Ïߣ¬ÈË É½ ÈË º£ ͬ Íæ ÃÎ »Ã Î÷ ÓÎ _______________________________________________ Freeswitch-users mailing list Freeswitch-users@lists.freeswitch.org http://lists.freeswitch.org/mailman/listinfo/freeswitch-users UNSUBSCRIBE:http://lists.freeswitch.org/mailman/options/freeswitch-users http://www.freeswitch.org --------------------------------- Be a better Globetrotter. Is it possible to send an event to the event_socket interface from a Javascript script? If so, how is it done? Thanks Cesar Cepeda.
The tone_detect api is not working correctly, in mod_commands.c on line 267 the declaration of argv should be changed from char *argv[6] à char *argv[7] since there are 7 parameters involved. Also in switch_ivr_async.c on line 626 I believe that the log level should be changed from ERROR into DEBUG or probably NOTICE Last, in order to compile it on MS Visual Studio 2005 I needed to do 2 casts on switch_ivr_play_say.c on both lines 945 and 948 you have to cast olen as a uint32_t in order to avoid the warning and thus the error. Cesar Cepeda.
Could you please post a bug to jira.freeswitch.org for these and I will review them. Thanks Mike On 7/21/07 1:07 AM, "Cesar Cepeda" <cesar@auronix.com> wrote:

directly is imposible send this information, but you can compose a URL a manage the keywords and variable and send the info to other page (php, servlet, jsp or another) to manage the information. Java Script is only to simple app to manage a view for explorer. I recomend that you use Ajax is most powerfull and integrate JavaScript with other app and the view is most estetical. Just to clear up the question... Are we talking about a JavaScript script that is run through the FreeSwitch embedded engine or are we talking about a web page that calls the event_socket layer via JavaScript. If we are talking about the latter, then Jose, is moving you in the right direction. You can make an asynchronous call to the specified ip and port (listen-ip and listen-port). Ideally, for Asynchronous JavaScript integration I would recommend using the Prototype (www.prototypejs.org) open source library. Kind Regards, Chris

Hi, I'm talking about a JavaScript which is run through the FreeSwitch embedded engine. I want to know if there is a command or method (perhaps of the Session object) from which I can send a customized event to the event engine. Thanks Cesar Cepeda.
