Tip #1 Centos5 really old update to a newer operating system. (I highly recomment Debian! This is where most of the FS Devs are heading.) Tip #2 If you must remain on Centos, Brian West posted this little trick to the mailing list the other day If you¹re using CentOS 5.x you MUST be on 5.10 64bit, 32bit is broken, wget -o Makefile http://bkw.org/Makefile make deps This works on both the 1.4 and Master branch. Why Debian? For me it was migrating to centos6 around 6.2 and getting just crappy performance and this continued on for quite a while... Moving to Debian6 and then on to Debian7 these problems have not manifested themselves... Mix this with the fact you can a modern kernel and versions of libraries from the system that arent ancient leads me to less headaches at night. On the gcc question I am unsure... FreeSWITCH Already builds with clang on linux... K On 5/23/14 11:20 PM, "jungleboogie0" <jungleboogie0@gmail.com> wrote:

clang on freebsd should work fine, if not, file a jira (even better with patches). Mike On May 24, 2014, at 4:20 AM, jungleboogie0 <jungleboogie0@gmail.com> wrote:
