Stream file to both legs
I'm sure I've done this before, but can't find it now - how can I play a file to more than one channel (eg. an a-leg and b-leg)
Try displace_session. Regards, Ali Pey On Tue, Feb 18, 2014 at 8:48 AM, Alex Lake <alex@digitalmail.com> wrote:

Interesting... Haven't come across that one before. Not sure I understand the documentation. I did try session:execute("displace_session /home/oev/fs-pabx/recordings/fast_tone_down.wav mux") and it succeeded in terminating the b-leg!
Try displace_session.

I have tried uuid_broadcast, but it plays the file on a-leg first and then after that it plays the file on the b-leg. It does not play the file on both legs at the same time. Then I tried bgapi to play the file on one leg and regular displace session to play it on the other leg: $api->executeString("bgapi uuid_displace ".$inbound_uuid." start ".$file." mux"); $session->execute( "displace_session",$file." mux" ); On Tue, Feb 18, 2014 at 12:55 PM, Brian West <brian@freeswitch.org> wrote:

Ah! it works a lot better with the "start" parameter in there ;-) Cheers.

I recall that the way I've done a similar thing before is through use of the event socket. Just wondering if I can use "sendmsg <uuid>" from inside a Lua script. Equivalent to: sendmsg <uuid> call-command: execute execute-app-name: playback execute-app-arg: /tmp/test.wav I could send messages to both legs.
I'm sure I've done this before, but can't find it now - how can I play a file to more than one channel (eg. an a-leg and b-leg)
