uuid_getvar for multiple variables
Hi, I was wondering whether there is a multi-get command for channel variables? For example, something like uuid_getvar for multiple variables? Right now I'm using uuid_dump to get all variables and just filtering the ones that I need. But can I ask FS to give me a list of variables in one API invocation? Many thanks, Ben
You cannot, that would be a feature request and it would be an interesting format for how to convey the multiple values esp if some didn't exist etc. On Mon, Feb 6, 2017 at 6:20 PM, Ben Hood <0x6e6562@gmail.com> wrote:

Fair point. You'd need some kind of convention to indicate that a requested key could be absent, hence putting the onus onto to the client to invoke this API defensively. It might be clearer if you were to apply this as a server side filter for uuid_dump rather than some kind of uuid_multi_getvar, since the caller of uuid_dump needs to handle a bag of (potentially absent) key-value pairs in any case. Anyway, many thanks for letting me know that I wasn't missing a trick. On Tue, Feb 7, 2017 at 12:34 AM, Anthony Minessale <anthony.minessale@gmail.com> wrote:
