Vicent. I know this can sound stupid but could one of the phones be behind a ipsec tunnel / vpn / vlan / on any way that it could could be talking with the external freeswitch interface ? Like a misconfig of the vm virtual interface , a route on the router some Layer 2 routing at the switch level ? A similar thing happened to me when performing a call from within a VPN tunnel , the router was trowing the call into the "external/public " interface vlan. The question isn't the configuration (that's currently stumping you) but what FreeSWITCH is showing you in the debug information. Guessing is for gamblers and amatuer investors, let's get some actual information: Run these in fs_cli and they should shed light on any difference in how they connect, if there is one. If they don't help, then grab a *full* fs_cli trace of the incoming call and pastebin it. Not just that one line you pasted. sofia_contact */1003 sofia_contact */1005 sofia status profile internal reg sofia status profile external reg (if those are your profile names, internal / external) -Avi On Fri, Jun 21, 2013 at 10:20 AM, Vincent Xia <gmangudai@gmail.com> wrote:

One reason we need to see the whole call log is that it can yield clues as to what's happening. For example, we are very interested to know if ACL "domains" is accepting the call that is hitting the public context. -MC On Fri, Jun 21, 2013 at 1:16 AM, Avi Marcus <avi@avimarcus.net> wrote:

hi Avi, i tried sofia_contact for 1003, it's reged: freeswitch@AP001> sofia_contact user/1003 sofia/internal/sip:1003@192.168.0.100:23790 ;rinstance=5288abc1707c7bb2;fs_nat=yes;fs_path=sip%3A1003%40192.168.0.100%3A23790%3Brinst nce%3D5288abc1707c7bb2 my FS version is v1.2.10 stable. 2013/6/21 Avi Marcus <avi@avimarcus.net>
The question isn't the configuration (that's currently stumping you) but what FreeSWITCH is showing you in the debug information. Guessing is for gamblers and amatuer investors, let's get some actual information:
Run these in fs_cli and they should shed light on any difference in how they connect, if there is one. If they don't help, then grab a *full* fs_cli trace of the incoming call and pastebin it. Not just that one line you pasted.
sofia_contact */1003 sofia_contact */1005 sofia status profile internal reg sofia status profile external reg (if those are your profile names, internal / external)

im pretty sure the following param is the same for 1003 and 1006, they are from the FS tarball, no one has ever modified it:
<variable name="user_context" value="default"/>
really weird...

Taking a look... if you have context=default and the conference in the vanilla configs just starts in the same default context.. So my guess is maybe you have the 1003 not registering, but hitting the external :5080 port that doesn't ask them to actually register? Are you sure 1003 is registered? Try "sofia_contact */1003" in the fs_cli -Avi On Fri, Jun 21, 2013 at 9:19 AM, Vincent Xia <gmangudai@gmail.com> wrote:
