EVENT_TRAP: IP change detected -> no Write unlock -> Error Creating SIP UA for profile: internal
Hi Guys. Today my standard sip profile decide not to work anymore, in fact it was related with the fact i had put some ip alias on the same internal network interface a few days ago, by searching the logs, this is what i got: 2012-02-28 14:50:56.126576 [INFO] mod_sofia.c:5155 EVENT_TRAP: IP change detected 2012-02-28 14:50:56.126576 [INFO] mod_sofia.c:5156 IP change detected []->[] [::1]->[fe80::225:90ff:fe3a:2e1a] 2012-02-28 14:50:56.306534 [NOTICE] sofia_glue.c:5295 Reload XML [Success] [...] 2012-02-28 14:50:57.926576 [DEBUG] sofia.c:2121 Write lock doublenat 2012-02-28 14:50:57.926576 [DEBUG] sofia.c:2132 Write unlock doublenat [...] 2012-02-28 14:50:58.026533 [DEBUG] sofia.c:2121 Write lock internal-ipv6 2012-02-28 14:50:58.026533 [DEBUG] sofia.c:2132 Write unlock internal-ipv6 [...] 2012-02-28 14:50:58.026533 [ERR] sofia.c:1916 Error Creating SIP UA for profile: internal-ipv6 [...] 2012-02-28 14:50:58.026533 [DEBUG] sofia.c:2121 Write lock internal but no unlock internal profile and no creating sip ua for profile: internal. Later final users reported the problem and i tried to start the profile: $ sofia profile internal start and i got: 2012-02-28 17:08:30.586507 [ERR] sofia.c:1916 Error Creating SIP UA for profile: internal So i deactivated the ip aliases and restart freeswitch and everything comes to live. But I suspect a problem with sofia because it wasn't able to unlock the internal profile, i checked the status of sofia via command line when this happens and there was no sofia internal profile listed. I don't know how the ip change event was triggered since i added the ip alias some days ago, not today when the problem was triggered. Maybe there will be some bug there. Slds. -- Nestor A. Hi Anthony , but the route didn't change, i just added aliases to the external interface (mistake: i wrote internal interface on the first mail but it was the external interface), the funny thing is that no matter if i disabled the aliases, after some calls the freeswitch trigger the event: 2012-03-08 16:04:56.186572 [INFO] mod_sofia.c:5155 EVENT_TRAP: IP change detected and no internal profile anymore, i have already disabled the aliases when this happened. The external interface was a network card with native vlan and the internal interface was a vlan over the same hardware interface. (just because i used to separate voice from data on different vlans) I just put your fix on the internal profile, I hope the problem does not happen again. Hope that will give you some hints. Thanks for such awesome piece of software ! Slds. -- Nestor A. Diaz Ingeniero de Sistemas Tel. +57 1-485-3020 x 211 Cel. +57 316-227-3593 Tel. I currently have the same problem. 2012-07-31 08:52:02.167397 [INFO] mod_sofia.c:5173 EVENT_TRAP: IP change detected 2012-07-31 08:52:02.167397 [INFO] mod_sofia.c:5174 IP change detected [10.2.2.11]->[192.168.1.1] []->[] and then the call gets hungup up due to missing rtp. That means: for the internal profile the ip 10.2.2.11 changed to 192.168.1.1 which is the IP of the external interface There is also a commented parameter <!-- <param name="auto-restart" value="false"/> --> in sofia.conf.xml Is it advisable to also change this to <param name="auto-restart" value="false"/>? -- With kind regards Peter Steinbach Telefaks Services GmbH mailto:lists (att) telefaks.de Internet: www.telefaks.de On 03/09/12 00:38, Nestor A Diaz wrote:

If the path to the internet changes by doing a bind and getting the primary ip of the interface, this fires. If its causing problems, you can disable it in sofia.conf.xml On Jul 31, 2012 7:48 AM, "Peter Steinbach" <lists@telefaks.de> wrote:
