Problem when using alias in sip profile
Hi Guys, I am using mod_xml_curl module to handle directory and dialplan. Directory is loading properly using mod_xml_curl (means extensions are registering properly) and calls were also working fine without enabling alias. Now I need to use alias field as we are going to use domain name to register sip devices. But after enabling alias field my calls stops working. I debug log and found without alias field when we are making call its calling directory section first and then dialplan. But when we enable alias option its calling dialplan section directly in place of calling directory section first and because of that my code is not getting proper variables and calls are getting failed. Can anybody please help me to point out the issue? Maybe I am missing something in configuration. Please let me know. What about configuring a directory script in xml_curl so that it gets what it's looking for? -Tim On 13-09-12 06:31 AM, smrdoshi wrote:

Hi Sam, I have re-read your email 3 times but I'm still struggling to figure out what it is you're trying to achieve. Could you please re-explain exactly what it is you are trying to do, possibly provide some example output of your dialplan in both working and broken scenarios etc? This will help us understand better and hopefully get you a better response! Cal On Thu, Sep 12, 2013 at 11:31 AM, smrdoshi <smrdoshi@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi Guys, Thanks for the reply. I already have configured directory parameter in xml_curl. Cal, Sure I will capture log for that cases and send you toady. ----- Thanks, Samir -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/Problem-when-using-alias-in-si... Hi Guys, Here's the log in pastebin, *Without Alias in sip profile : * http://pastebin.com/QkWfrjaR Here you can see first its showing section directory and then section dialplan. *With Alias in sip profile : * http://pastebin.com/C5rvrQgP Here you can see its showing section dialplan directly. Let me know if you need any other information. ----- Thanks, Samir -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/Problem-when-using-alias-in-si... Hi Samir, Sorry for the slow reply, I was away for a few days. I've had a look over those two pastebins, however I am still struggling to see what the problem is here. Based on the lack of replies on this thread, I suspect others came to the same conclusion. Could you perhaps try re-wording into a specific set of questions, and include some info about what you have tried so far etc. Hope this helps.
