To answer a call and provide a ringtone during the transfer (while the destination ua rings and awaits answering), do I simply need to: <action application="set" data="transfer_ringback="$${us-ring}"/> <action application="answer"/> <action application="transfer" data="..."/> Thanks, jlc

That all depends it should work but what are you transferring to?
Well, since my tdm card is working now I have an issue whereby our telco plan prevents me from adjusting the call forward timeout (as suggested earlier) so I have to answer the zap line before I attempt to transfer it to the ring group. Thanks! jlc
