Does the project have any plans to sell G729 codecs for AMR as well as for x86_64/i386? My company has been running a FS VoIP PA endpoint on ARM, kind of like Ken's Switch Pi, but simpler, and we'd really like to put G729 on the things, if possible.

Yes. Please tell me you at least have a decently-optimized fixed point implementation. Does anyone (Steve Underwood perhaps?) know how much NEON, etc might help on ARM? On Fri, Feb 7, 2014 at 12:32 PM, servtelar <servtelar@gmail.com> wrote:

It depends on your definition of non-commercial. Pretty much every country allows you to incorporate patented techniques in experimental and/or education applications. Deployments are a problem, even if they are for your own in-house use. Regards, Steve On 02/10/2014 09:16 PM, Michael Jerris wrote:

Yes, it should work on Raspberry because ARMv5TE is the subset of ARMv6 and ARMv7 command sets. It can be even faster as ARMv6/v7 has many advanced instructions(ex. division by hardware). As for open sourcing, sorry guys, but I can't. First of all because Freeswitch Solutions Llc is official licensee of Sipro(g.729 patent holder).
