I apologize if this has been answered before, but I can't seem to find anything on google. Is there a way to disable call waiting in FreeSWITCH? -Adam
FreeSWITCH is NOT involved in call waiting. Thats an endpoint specific feature. If you have an endpoint that doesn't let you see mod_limit. /b On Mar 18, 2010, at 1:41 PM, Adam Ford wrote:

That would explain the lack of info. I recommend addressing this issue via endpoint configuration. If you really must to do it, I have successfully used "Mod Limit (http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Mod_limit) to do it in an effort to band-aid a call waiting bug exhibited by a SIP-based DSLAM (until the manufacturer could fix it). Not desirable--but works. -Metik Adam Ford wrote:

We do this by checking the core DB for the user's status. We do so since we have a logic to decide whether to allow call waiting, send busy or send to voicemail. The user's prefference is set in a database. regards, __Yehavi: 2010/3/18 Metik <freeswitch-users-list@metik.com>
