Ah man, that really sucks :( My wishes to them both! Cal On Wed, Sep 18, 2013 at 2:21 AM, Ken Rice <krice@freeswitch.org> wrote:
Hey Guys,
Just spoke with Brian, and he requests that you all send the good vibes to Greg.
Right before ClueCon Greg suffered a meniscus tear, and at the end of August, went under the knife to have it repaired... Today on a follow up visit the doctors discovered an infection bad enough that they sent Greg straight to the O.R. to have this dealt with.
Greg is now doing well, and resting in the hotel for the next few days, but is facing a travel ban for the next 6 weeks or so...
Which leads us to the wedding. Brian and Greg have been forced to place the wedding on hold until which time Greg is well.
They will still be tying the knot, just not as soon as they had hoped.
Anyone wishing to assist Brian and Greg with the added expenses, paypal brian@bkw.org and put a note on there...
As I have more info I'll update everyone, and we're hoping to get brian on the call tomorrow so he can fill us in directly!
Ken

As some of you may have heard by now, our very own Brian K West (a.k.a. bkw_) is going to be marrying the love of his life, Gregory A Dunn.
The ceremony will be held on October 7th in NYC. Please join with us all in congratulating him and his spouse to be.
For those of you who would like to help out with the costs of the planning and ceremony, or would just like to send them a gift, his paypal address is brian@bkw.org. No gift is too small (or too large ;-))
If you're in, or around, NYC on the 6th or 7th, we'd entertain the idea of having a FreeSWITCH Users' dinner somewhere in the area on one of those two nights if there's enough interest. Feel free to email me privately (at weddingplanner@freeswitch.org) if you'll be in the area and interested in congratulating them, in person, over dinner.
