the error seems related to the profile in this case, anyhow sending instant messaging works only for destinations registered to local freeswitch (see mod_sofia/sofia_presence.c, line 131). I was close to get into a project working with freeswitch and instant messaging, at that time I looked a bit in the sources and should be fair easy to make it work for other destinations, but I had no time to do it, test and send the patch.
