actually i sent the message but in the output it showed the config as blank so i tried removing the xml format but it still showed the same so after multiple editing it showed fine so it got submitted 6 times, sorry for that, i didnt mean to hijack it or something like that. Brian West-3 wrote:

Well your regular expression won't capture anything so $1 will be blank.
So either wrap it in () ie ^(1234)$ or just use the number in place of $1.
Also what does the console say?
