We don't actively use ubuntu so we have no official resources devoted to it apart from community contributions. On a personal editorial note I find the concept of stable ubuntu an oxymoron. It will also be useful to have a nightly or weekly packages of master to make it easier to install and test.

ubuntu 12.04 scares me. We've had 2 openssl problems with it in the last few months. Proceed with caution unless you see some evidence they have fixed the openssl. They seem to have their own patched version of it causing problems especially with WebRTC.
