I've got 40+ phones with 7.5.5 connecting to Asterisk with no problems on the BLF. As far as I know it's just one particular phone that has a BLF problem and that has persisted across factory resets and asterisk restarts. I've not done very extensive troubleshooting on the problem but I will be interested in hearing what you find. Darren Wiebe On Wed, Sep 24, 2014 at 10:57 AM, Cj B <blackc2004@gmail.com> wrote:
Hmmm. It could be, but I doubt it. I have other phones on the same firmware connecting to asterisk with no problems on the BLF. What firmware version are you running? I've tried with both 7.5.6 and 7.5.5.
I'm in the process of building a new freeswitch server to test with.

This is not a helpful answer. I'm suspicious there's something in the firmware. I'm experiencing the same problem on a new Asterisk installation so this might not be FreeSWITCH specific. Most of the phones work perfectly but mine has a flashing orange light on one extension that won't clear with factory resets, etc.

Anyone have any ideas here? My clients are getting really upset about the orange flashing lights. I've tried everything I can think of, including turning off iptables, opening more ports on the routers, etc.
No software changed (phone firmware, freeswitch, etc) either. It's just very bizarre that it would be working and then suddenly stop.

Hello list,
I have a Cisco 525G and 504G both with side cars. They were working fine for a while (green lights, flash when ringing, etc) and then all of a sudden they are now just blinking orange constantly. I haven't upgraded freeswitch (1.4.6+git~20140603T193516Z~9479729340~32bit).
The sidecar still seems to work, I can transfer to other lines, I can dial them, but the lights just stay flashing orange. Here's a packet capture: http://pastebin.com/vDreS2bm
Does anyone know what could cause this?
Thanks for any help!
