[Freeswitch-users] Integration with an external registrar

I know one could look up authentication information stored elsewhere via xml_curl but a simple scenario there would involve a registration message triggering this process. Since a separate registrar would likely consume the registration message I am curious what backend process could be used to share this information and trigger the event so the FS server actually held an active registration while the registrar actually dealt with the load of the registration messages. The registrar would be one of the openSER variants in this case. Has anyone heard of any projects using a separate registrar while keeping the actual registrations active in FS to enable all feature use like SLA, BLF, etc? Thanks, Jody Rudolph
