are you setting presence_id=user@domain variable on the outbound leg? This is done for you in the DP via the user/ channel in the defaults but if you are not using this you have to set it manually.

in directory default we have the following: <params> <param name="dial-string" value="{presence_id=${dialed_user}@${dialed_domain}}${sofia_contact(${dialed_user}@${dialed_domain})}"/> </params> everthing works fine with the led lights - the only problem is the described above.
