a) can mod_jingle do the notification of a buddy request
I think it just auto accepts them.
b) can mod_jingle alert me of a call and pick up and start recording.
This would be the same as any other new call.
If you have a config (especially for a google for domains config) I would be forever in your debt! (figure of speech of course :)
There is examples for the dingaling (jingle module) config in tree for both client and component login.
