From our experience using FreeSWITCH, I can say that Michael is absolutely correct; the biggest most critical piece is the carrier, and a lot of them will lie about their capabilities.
You also need to decide what codec you're going to rumble with. Some carriers have weird behaviors where they want you to start a call with G722 and then change to T.38 after their SBC picks it up. Faxing is kind of the red-headed stepchild of the telecom industry, in case you haven't noticed. The best advice I can give is to test, test and test again. The most critical piece, IMHO, is a carrier that actually knows how to deliver faxes properly. I'm sure others here can chime in with their experiences. -MC On Mon, Jun 3, 2013 at 2:19 AM, pratham2013 <manish.khilwani@gmail.com<mailto:manish.khilwani@gmail.com>> wrote: Hello, I need to build the FAX service which can send can send and receive through email so is it possible to build with FreeSwitch?
