you can do it within dialplan, or you can trigger an event or something, there are several ways to get it done!

Curious! How do you trigger an api call on hangup?

fax2email is quiet easy you just need to keep a mapping of did's with respective email addresses of persons in a database or something, and an api call on hangup can trigger an mail script to convert and send fax in a more user friendly format like pfd or doc etc.
for email2fax you would need to setup an smtp service fax.example.com, your smtp service can pipe the email to a custom script to extract file attachments using a mime decoder and send them to freeswitch. for all document format conversion things you can use openoffice macros functionality which is callable from command line.

Hi All
Has anyone worked on a email2fax script for mod_fax? If not how much would it cost for some genius here to quickly whip-up one?
Ideally both email2fax and fax2email should come standard with mod_fax or is this not possible?
Thanks Costa
