This is a function of your configuration. With the default example configs FreeSWITCH picks the first available interface. You can set thte interface to bind to in the various config files for the modules in question or by forcing it in vars.xml ini the example configs Sent from my iPhone

Hi,
Is there a way to set the IPv6 address FS binds to on startup? As far as I can tell FS just picks the first available dynamic IPv6 address and assigns it to the local_ip_v6 variable.
As these address change it makes it hard to setup routing and firewalling. I would like it to use the permanent IPv6 address instead.
Thanks,
