then were passing the handling via mgetty to pppd - just like hylafax takes over the spandsp in the data handling. maybe we need to disable the T.38 for this to work (and stay in G711) ? Are you under the impression there are duplex data modems in spandsp? If so, its a false impression. There is a V.22bis modem, but it is not exposed in the AT interface provided for the FAX modems.
