[Freeswitch-users] Reloading XML's

I'm just getting started with Freeswitch. I edited freeswitch.xml and added one command to set my external IP address as explained in the book. What I can't find is how to cause Freeswitch to rescan that file, or any XML file that gets changed. Do I have to restart the service to do that?
