The default has 5060 for phones to register to... 5080 is where outbound register requests go from to say providers. Never assume because something is done a certain way in the defaults that its the ONLY way you can do things. I could make the defaults so complex that nobody would ever understand them. Local clients actually register at port 5080 for the internal context. You can change that under sofia's sip profile configuration.
