Also, G.729 is patent encumbered big-time. Instead of lining the pockets of lawyers and mega-corporations by perpetuating the use of a crusty old codec we should all twist arms and get our providers, device makers, etc. to use Speex.
Yeah.. let me know when you get Cisco to add Speex support to IOS! ;)
