Fabulous! You just made my day :) The setVariable is working great; just tried it with javascript and the conventional bridge approach. A side question: is there any performance comparison between the different languages that FS supports (in particular between Java and Javascript)? put session.setVariable("ringback", "<file path to some audio file>"); before you bridge.
There are more complicated ways to do it if you really want but only if you really need to:
session = new JavaSession(sessionUuid); session2 = new JavaSession("sofia/gateway/voip.did.les.net/14146548900", session);
bridge(session, session2);
session.hangup(); session2.hangup();

Party A is indeed created with the sessionUuid created by FS. And yes, the bridging that you propose works just fine.
session = new JavaSession(sessionUuid); session.execute("bridge", "sofia/gateway/voip.did.les.net/14146548900");
I was hopping that while orginatinging the call to party B seperately, I could create a thread where a nice music or advertisement is played to Party A.
