You can for an outgoing call, but you'll want to be very careful doing so, as you may no longer be able to detect routing loops. http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Variable_max_forwards <action application="bridge" data="{max_forwards=65}sofia/gateway/ipexchange/442920180123"/> -Steve On 9 August 2011 00:44, Stephen Wilkey <stephen_wilkey@hotmail.com> wrote:
Thanks for the discussion on this issue.
I have discovered that my ISP is sending calls to me with *Max*-*Forwards*=4 which means that I can't do much with the call when it arrives. Is there a way to ignore or override the *Max*-*Forwards* setting that is provided with the call when it arrives so that I am able to process it?
Regards, Stephen
