It's probably what Dragos mentioned (stereo calls) and this warning is caused when writing recordings into a single channel in the file.
The problem appeared suddenly and I conclude it's because they started to use Firefox instead of Chrome (Webrtc). Even though the Opus codec string is "OPUS@8000h@20i@1c" which should be 1 channel, Firefox just uses stereo anyway apparently.
If I can't get Firefox to behave somehow, I will probably just squelch it on the log server :-/
