To start with does fs_cli connect ok? It'll confirm mod_event_socket is loaded, working, password & listening IP is correct and no firewall is blocking it. I remember having the same issue when I started working with managedEsl. If I remember correctly, I had also changed the password and tried connecting, but without success.
What happens if you change the password back to ClueCon and try connecting with FS through ManagedESL again?
