Theres no need. but some of the users will most likely do so if they can. And if not both are supplied I have no way of knowing it, which would make a silent error since my bridge commands would not work (as I try to bridge to supplied directory username). Can you explain to me the need to have username and auth-username differ? I have yet to ever see a use case for such a thing.

Hello
som phones have different fields for auth username and username.
Freeswitch sends the auth-username when requesting the directory, but then registers the user using the regular username. For me this is a problem, since I generate dialplans dynamically in my app using the info sent in the fetch directory request.
Is it possible that FS can send both names when it requests the directory for a user?
Thanks, Jonas
