This is the difference between what is sent to the mail server in the mime content, and what is passed as MAIL FROM: to the smtp server. The latter is controlled by that param, the former is in the template. Mike On Feb 10, 2010, at 9:15 PM, Paul Levin wrote:

I have msmtp configured to set a "From" address of me@mydomain.com, but when FreeSwitch sends an email with a voice mail message from Alice, the From address of the email is Alice@sipServerDomain.com. According to the Mod voicemail document (http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Mod_voicemail) the email_email-from parameter should control this, but I tried setting it in conf\autoload_configs\directory.conf.xml (as per that document) and also in Bob.xml (the account getting the voicemail). Neither place changed the value being used.
How do I get this changed?
